4 lbs 12 ozs and counting...

Mayson is still doing great! He will hopefully be home in a few weeks. Like Jody mentioned in a comment Mayson had some ultrasounds.. for his liver and his brain. The one for his liver was fine and his head was pretty good the veins are still a little dilated but they weren't too concerned. He will have another u/s on his head on Tuesday. He still has not had to be tapped and I think it's been longer than a week so he's doing incredibly well that way. Jody and Paul are still up there everyday. I know they're really excited that he is going to be able to come home soon! It'll happen before we all know it. I think Curtis has posted some pics over on his flickr account.. so check em out!

Oh, boy! I cannot believe how fast the little guy is growing--I want to see him so bad. I keep having dreams about him, that he's a big chubby baby--looks like my dreams are coming true. I can't seem to find the pics on Curtis's page, but I'll keep looking. I'm so excited to be able to see him again!

I have to laugh about the WEINS ;)comment.. It is his ventricles that are dilated. He has not been tapped since the 16th TALKING about taking the reservoir out. Nothing is set! He is so cute!
Sorry to say for Heather we talked to the Dr. yester morning and there are concerns about her seeing him and tranfering something to him. They suggested she needs to get her shots before contact with Mayson. I guess we will see... She is probably on a plane and will not be able to see this before she is here crying her little eyes out because she can not see Mayson :(
Thanks again for all the Hard work SISSY has put into this and I hope she will update his cute pictures!

Oh, I'm not on the plane yet...I knew I'd have to wait, darn it. As far as I can tell, I've only had a cold the whole time I've been here--and that was like three weeks ago--and then a little "upset stomach" but that was like a week and a half ago (I know, TMI). Hopefully I'm not carrying anything at all, but you never can tell. Better safe than sorry.
